How do I apply?

A letter of intent is due in December of your R-2 year in the diagnostic radiology program. Notification of acceptance occurs in the R-2 year. Only one resident per class is allowed in the ESIR program. The interventional radiologists review and decide which resident is selected into the program.

What additional rotations are required during residency?

• R3: 1.5 blocks of IR and 2 blocks of Body-IR

• R4: 5.5 blocks of IR, 1 block of vascular surgery and 1 block of trauma ICU

• Aim to participate and perform in minimum number of cases per ACGME requirements
